Diverse Learning Environments

Infants are more uniquely and independently scheduled, our staff follow their cues while also supplying teacher directed activities that are age and developmentally appropriate based on each child’s interest, ability, and culture. Infants will be stimulated through music, songs, language and interactions between staff and other children. A variety of toys are offered on low shelves that are easily accessible to all children that promote and inspire exploration, learning, and creativity; as well as soft climbing mats and low to the ground table and chair. Staff provides nurturing, sensory experiences and physical contact through holding, rocking, singing, talking and simple teacher directed activities.
Infants
Toddlers become more independent and curious of their surroundings. Our toddlers love to explore, create, and learn by themselves and with the help of our staff members. A variety of toys that support age and developmentally appropriate domains, as well as supporting the interests, cultures, and abilities of the children are stationed through the classroom that are on shelves that are easily accessible to all children. Imaginary play areas are set up to promote learning about their world.

Preschool
Preschool and Pre-k children are eager to learn and explore. These children are
understanding their world in a different way, they want to overcome new
challenges and accomplish tasks by themselves, while teachers guide them in
their success in a fun, comfortable and relaxing environment.
Pre-K

School age children are independent, more responsible for their surroundings, but also very unsure of the world. They look for guidance and reassurance from the teacher while having a comfortable and relaxing environment at the center.
